The Pro-Touch 5 is the latest of our Pro-Touch products! It is a fully digital swingweight system with a color touchscreen. No moving parts. No fiddling with calibration (but you can if you like!). Just set your club in the fixture and instantly get Swingweight to 0.1 and inch/grams to 1 gram. Also gives you total weight and the club's balance point.
The Pro-Touch 5 has some new features. The big change is a feature which allows you to estimate the MOI (moment of inertia) of any club. We’ve improved the graphics of the swingweight screen to make the graph easier to read and understand. We removed the OTA update feature as we now have a much easier online tool for firmware updating. We still have the ability to save and recall up to 50 clubs in the scales memory and the ability to use a thermal printer. We’ve also switched to a much tougher plastic for our 3D printed parts.
The upper case is powder coated 20 gauge (.9mm) galvanized steel. The bottom case is also 20 gauge galvanized steel (un-painted). The end caps and club holders are 3D printed plastic. We’ve taken extreme care to make sure they all look and work great. The club holders are installed (by the user) on either end. This allows the user to set up the scale to allow the clubhead to point right or left. Each unit comes with two styles of grip end supports (pin style and hood style). Two of the supports have built in “platforms” to make it easier to weigh objects on the fly. One of the grip supports comes with a built-in “grip-less” adapter to measure a club prior to grip installation.
Please read the instruction manual for details on all of the Pro-Touch 5 features.
Each unit comes with 2 dedicated precision load cells matched with 2 calibrated 24 bit A/D converters and a dual-core ESP32 microprocessor running at 240mhz to handle the calculations. The full color 2.8” TFT touch screen shows the results in real time. Each scale comes with a USB power supply and two built in weight holders to allow the user to use the scale’s load cells to weigh objects less than 1Kg.
We support the PT-210 Bluetooth thermal printers. This allows users to print out swingweight results to a battery powered thermal receipt printer. It’s free to use but as printers change, it’s functionality may become obsolete. Printer is not included.

Very easy to use. Great value compared to other digital models costing $400+
I was looking at making something myself with load sales and came across this online. For the price, it wasn’t worth trying to develop something. Not to mention, I certainly would not have been able to do the control/programming/interface like they have on this unit.
I’ve been doing swing weights the manual way with balance point in calculation. At best, I was getting down to about 1/16 of an inch. While it isn’t great, it gave me a good idea of how things were across the bag.
I wanted to dial things in a little bit closer so I decided to get this unit. Compare compared toI wanted to dial things in a little bit closer so I decided to get this unit. Compared to my manual readings, this was 1/4 to 1/2 of a swing weight point higher than what I previously recorded. It was consistent across the bag.
I did have my driver on one of the expensive swing weight scales and it was close to my manual reading as well as this reading. All that being said, I feel very confident this unit was giving good results.
I just received a pair of brand new Vokey SM 11 wedge. It’s a stock wedge and I checked the swing weight and it was D5.0. The other wedge was D4.8. Advertised swing weight on these is D5.0. Just another data point for confidence.
After going through my bag, I confirmed some previous readings that I saw. My eight iron was off and I was not sure why. I cut the grip off and weighed it on the scale, a really nice feature, only to find out it was 2 g heavier than all the other extra grips I had. I put on a new grip in the swing weight now matched all my other irons.
I’ve got some pretty tight progression through my clubs and I’m using some tungsten putty to find tune the weights. This unit has been fantastic for helping me do that.
The only potential negative, and I really haven’t figured out what’s doing it, a few minutes after turning the unit on it seems it loses about 0.5 swing weight points out of nowhere. I don’t know if something is hung up and I am doing something wrong, but just but just worth noting. I will take multiple readings to ensure I get the same reading each time or close enough to it. That’s how I found this out. Very much could be user error.
The instructions that come with this unit are also great. They are very detailed and I had no problem with the set up or use.
Overall, I would highly recommend this unit. It’s half the price of more expensive units and it has a lot of features. I am very confident in the readings I’m getting off of this. Fine tuning my clubs has had a positive impact on my game.
This is a nice little tool for the price. Give swing weight with enough accuracy to get the job done. I did have times where I put the same club on it and it came out with very slightly different values, but not enough to matter to most people. Definitely a good value for a good tool.
I’ve only use it for swing weight checks and it’s been awesome. Better than the old scale.
Easy to set up, and it doesn’t take long to be able to use it effectively.
