Can my Digital Scale be Updated?

If you bought one of our full size “Steel” scales (not the mini), then the answer is yes! We’ve added an online method to write new firmware to older scales. All you need is a PC running Chrome or Edge as the browser. We will provide you with a new firmware file and you can program the latest software onto your scale. So if you have a Pro-Touch Steel build 2 years ago, you can make it “new” with all of the features of the Pro-Touch 4. The latest firmware (4.0) also has OTA update capability, so if you upgrade to 4.0, future updates can be done over the air. Here are the FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS.
